Prenursing Smarter Review of 2018: The 2018 has come and gone, and now is a perfect time to reflect on all the changes the past year brought.
In Prenursing Smarter student success…
Several Prenursing Smarter students began nursing school this year, and some will start in spring 2019!!!
Other students got the TEAS score they wanted and now are working on their applications. Yesss!!! By far, this is the biggest achievement of the year. If students are getting results, then I am ecstatic.
In fact, to highlight their successes, this year I created a new page Prenursing Smarter to highlight the achievements of these exceptional students. You can read all of them here.
These success stories are fantastic. Talk about inspirational!
In Prenursing Smarter growth…
♥ Launched a study community.
It’s a facebook group right now, and it’s a great area for study buddies to meet, chat, and share support and inspiration. Of course, I pop in regularly to answer questions, pass along more study resources, and offer guidance.
By the way, I’d love to hear your thoughts on facebook and social media. Do you like connecting online but want to avoid facebook, or are you totally cool with the platform? They’ve gotten a lot of well-deserved critique in the past year, but it is a social platform that most everyone knows how to use.
♥ Created Picmonic study sets.
These are great tools that can be used beyond your TEAS prep. I’m a huge fan of study tools that fit into your busy life. Odds are, you have a full schedule and you can’t always devote a full hour a day to your TEAS studying everyday of the week.
Picmonic is fantastic for reviewing anatomy and physiology, and they have tons of resources to help you through nursing school. If you are curious, you can create an account for free, and you can check out these (affiliate) links for study sets I created to help you prepare for the TEAS Anatomy and Physiology questions in short and sweet study sessions. You can use all these links on their free plan.
You can check out their website and create an always-free account at anytime. By the way, the Modules 1, 2, and 3 are taken from my online course, which have all the details you need for TEAS Anatomy and Physiology questions.
♥ Added more interactive lessons.
These are quicker practice questions and activities to help you quiz yourself important TEAS review topics. If you are curious, you can try out this interactive pronoun lesson right here:
Drag and drop your answers into the blanks. Click the blue button to check your answers!
By the way, these pronoun rules are weird for a lot of students, so you are not alone if these questions seem strange. When we speak, we often break a lot of these pronoun rules, so many of these don’t “sound” right.
In 2018, I added exercises like these for every section of the TEAS 6: Reading, Math, Science and English.
♥ Built a randomized exam question bank.
Yesss! You can now take 10 practice test questions on each subject at a time, which is great for super quick study time.
Practice questions galore!
Other quick Prenursing Smarter updates…
→ Expanded the Quizlet study sets. You can check them all out here.
→ Added a limited-time free trial of the program. Sign up here.
→ Published 10 blog posts of great free information. By the way, blogging isn’t always my strong suit, so I had to set a goal and hold myself accountable to do a little bit frequently. (I recommend this strategy for your TEAS studying, too! 😉 Consistently do a little every day will build your achievements.)
→ Created an interactive study calendar to help enrolled students stay on track in the course. (An overview of this is included in the free preview.)
Summary by the numbers: By 2018 Prenursing Smarter contained…
1000+ multiple-choice practice questions
4+ hours of on-the-go audio reviews
11+ hours of in-depth video lessons
70+ TEAS 6 study modules
Yay! By the way, if you want easy peasy updates for all things TEAS, be sure to follow me on Pinterest. I’m most active over there.
Thank you so much for reading and following along. I’m excited to keep growing in 2019. And, of course, I hope your 2019 is off to a great start. It’s going to be a great year! 🙂 ❤️
