✔ Make and use flashcards (who doesn’t love flashcards?!)
✔ Play memory matching games
✔ Study anytime, anywhere because Quizlet works on mobile devices and is great for short study sessions
Quizlet is an awesome free study tool, and I’ve started creating TEAS flashcard sets for you to use! Right now, you can find a few TEAS Quizlet practice sets that you can work with right now. Yay for studying for the TEAS! Let’s take a look at the sets I’ve already made for you and go over what you can expect to learn.
TEAS Quizlet for Reading
Review TEAS Reading terms for passages and paragraphs with these 20 select terms organized for you. You’ll get the most-know terms for different passage types, different parts of passages, and informational source types. Plus, you’ll lean how the acronym PIE 🥧 can help you with the author’s intent on the TEAS.
These terms are a great foundation for your TEAS Reading studying.
TEAS Quizlet for Math
Grab the TEAS Math flashcards for the metric system! You are going to see questions about the metric system on the TEAS, so spend some of your studying time time reviewing the metric system’s prefixes and its conversions basics.
This is a great topic to get super speedy with so that you can answer these questions quickly on the TEAS… which can buy yourself time to spend on those random, yucky word problem questions.
Plus, I threw in some practice questions for you to practice metric system conversions… because everyone loves free practice questions.
By the way, this TEAS flashcard set also includes some metric system concepts that you might see on the TEAS Science section. You can’t escape the metric system!
In the TEAS science section, you might be asked to apply the metric system for questions on the scientific method. In particular, you might be asked to pick the right tool for measuring volume, mass, or distance. I’ve included the scientific tools emphasized by the TEAS in this 20-question flashcard set.
TEAS Quizlet for Science
The TEAS Science section covers biology, chemistry, the scientific method, and the human body. Human Anatomy and Physiology is the largest single subject you’ll see on the entire exam. There’s a lot you’ll need to know, so I’ll cut right to the chase. Want some practice questions? I got ya covered!
You can practice with 10 tricky anatomy and physiology questions to quiz yourself on body systems.
TEAS Quizlet for English
Do you know what a gerund is (say what!)? Can you identify the 3 types of pronoun cases that you’ll see on the TEAS? Do you know the difference between a coordinating conjunction and a subordinating conjunction (are you just making up words now?!)?
Real talk: we break English grammar rules allllll the time when we speak, and many people do not enjoy studying all the ins and outs of grammar. (Of course, please celebrate if you are a grammar nerd who has strong opinions about Oxford commas and dangling modifiers.)
The TEAS English section will test you on stuff that sounds right… but is not grammatically correct. You’ll also see questions on grammar rules you don’t really need to know in everyday life, which means you’ve probably forgotten them.
For example, take these two sentences:
Sentence #1: Between you and me, the TEAS English section is surprisingly challenging.
Sentence #2: Between you and I, the TEAS English section is surprisingly challenging.
Only one of them is right. Do you know which one is correct? The answer has to do with the type of pronoun that’s needed after a preposition… 🤓
You now have access to 70 TEAS Quizlet practice questions.
You are better prepared for the TEAS! Yay!
